Hey Guys, I love your updates on local rivers like the Croton, if its possible I would like to know what flies work well and at what times during the year on rivers like the Croton watershed and the Amawalk.
I went to the nymphin presentation a couple of Saturdays back and found it to be very informative

i think it would be cool if you guys had a page or link of pictures of fish caught in the area
Looking at your June 08 fly of the month, may answere a question I have asked myself. I have tied a similar looking midge pupa/larva pattern, as shown in your first picture, using a bright red bead behind the hook eye. Often wondered why red seemed to work well and only considered the color attraction, as a reason.
